The cone holder is the part I didn't know I needed until I used it. It keeps the cone perfectly upright while the ice shaves down into it, so you're not holding everything together with one hand while trying to crank with the other. Really well thought out.

what I noticed pretty quickly is how fine the shave actually is. it comes out light and fluffy, not crushed or chunky, so the syrup soaks through evenly instead of just pooling on top. makes a huge difference in how it tastes.

ok this thing is actually so fun to use

It's compact enough to store easily but feels solid when it's sitting on the counter. The shaving mechanism is smooth and doesn't take a ton of effort to turn. Cleaned up fast after we used it, which I always appreciate.
