This compost tumbler is built with two separate chambers that allow one side to remain in the composting cycle while the other receives new material. The combined 160 L capacity provides space for staged compost batches without mixing fresh and partially processed contents. A galvanized steel frame supports the barrel assembly while PP plastic panels form the rotating body. The octagonal barrel includes eight panels that help guide internal movement during rotation.

Rotation Logic and Air Movement Control

The barrel rotates 360° around a shared central axis. Eight internal fins are integrated into the barrel to move materials as the drum turns through each rotation. Vent openings are distributed across the barrel to allow air movement through both chambers during use. Separate access doors allow each chamber to be loaded or emptied independently depending on the composting stage. The elevated frame keeps the barrel above ground level while maintaining access to both chamber openings.

The frame is designed to sit on flat surfaces without requiring permanent mounting. Individual chamber doors provide direct access when adding yard waste or removing finished compost.
